The Latest
In Spring 2017, bringing these tools for locally-led resilience to communities devastated by Nepal's 2015 earthquake, EW launched its first 'Catalyst Action Training (CAT) ', a four day intensive with 22 young women leaders, led by two lead local trainers and supported by several renowned change agents (guest Voices).
Throughout the course, guest change agents inspired catalysts with achievements in women's rights (abolishment of Chhaupadi which keeps menstruating women from school), the banning of plastic bags (a major pollution issue for Kathmandu), entrepreneurship, cultivation of livelihoods and careers through art, and more.

- 2009, Empowerment WORKS launched its first 7 Stages to Sustainability curriculum in China for the World Academy for the Future of Women;
- 2013, in partnership with Living Mandala educational collective, EW developed & delivered an intensive 2 week Permaculture Design Courses bringing 7SS to the villages of Bodh Gaya, India; and
- 2014, back home in California (at Amma's San Ramon Center) produced a multi-weekend course linking the best that the West Coast's PDC educators.
- 2017, launch of Catalyst Action Training (CAT) in Kathmandu, Nepal.
