Mission in Action

Inspired by indigenous wisdom since 2001, Empowerment WORKS (EW) is a social change organization advancing   a whole system approach to a sustainable world.

In the world's most culturally rich, yet economically challenged communities, applying an ecologically inspired process called '7 Stages to Sustainability (7SS)',  EW brings access to markets, appropriate technologies and education within the grasp of citizens on the front lines of social, economic, and ecological change. 

In the US and globally, with The Global Summit,  Artists in Action events and other creative civic engagement, EW fosters a diverse, cross-sector network of  'Partners in Empowerment (PIE)' united in action for a more socially just and  ecologically thriving future.

Through these mutually supportive collaborations, Empowerment WORKS inspires people across the globe to realize the value of their existing knowledge, unique talents and collective potential to change the world.
