From Art for AIDS Relief in 2001, being the first group to bring awareness to Colony Collapse Disorder in 2007, to innovating The Global Summit multi-sector collaboration forum in 2008; Empowerment WORKS events have led the edge of social change.  

Now in 2012 , to harness and exchange solutions where they are needed most, together with our local host partners in Ghana, we are proud to co-create the first African Local Summit and continue to rise to our collective challenge of uniting the most grass-roots and powerful in meaningful collaboration.
