Since 2004, Empowerment WORKS has provided nonprofit fiscal sponsorship services to projects advancing our mission towards a thriving, socially just world.
Resource saving benefits of Fiscal Sponsorship: Organizations typically spend 20% on administration. By sharing overhead, EW enables these efforts to direct up to 95% of donor support to program needs (EW accepts a base admin fee = 5% of total contributions).
In addition, EW fiscally sponsored projects become part of EW's multi-sector network of Partners in Empowerment, gaining access to 7 Stages to Sustainability (7SS) curriculum & collaboration training, community events and other capacity building & outreach opportunities.

How to Become a Fiscally Sponsored Project of Empowerment WORKS: * process = 1 month.
- FIRST, send a brief email letter of interest with your project's purpose to melanie@empowermentworks.org - if the basic mission supports ours, we'll send an application.
- THIRD, Fiscal Sponsorship committee member will interview Applicant Project Director(s), and provide agreement w/ terms, rights and responsibilities of EW's Fiscal Sponsorship program.
- FINAL FOUR: EW's Fiscal Sponsorship program agreement is mutually-reviewed and signed by project director(s) and sponsored projects are able to accept tax-deductible donations on-line and off as an official "Project of 501c3 nonprofit, Empowerment WORKS".
