"The greatest amount of fertility exists at the intersection of two eco-systems." - Kenny Osgood (Bioneers founder) at Digital Earth 2007

Like eco-systems, each community has unique, mutually supportive members that when linked, dramatically advance benefit to all involved. EW identifies these mutually beneficial partners in on the ground in program areas (local social entrepreneurs, non-profits/ voluntary groups) and globally (foundations, sponsoring businesses, expert social and environmental agencies). Through EW, they join forces to co-create locally appropriate solutions.

EW - ADVANCING “Inter-Sectoral Partnerships"

Inter-sectoral Partnering (ISP) is the process of creating and implementing joint venture initiatives -- or partnerships -- across civil society, government, and the private sector. According to the United States Agency for International Development, ISPs strengthen individual organizations within each of the three sectors, offer a mechanism to resolve specific development issues, facilitate poverty reduction, and lay the foundation for broader systemic change.

EW applies this cutting edge approach within a holistic, community based approach in keeping with EW’s deep appreciation for indigenous wisdom. By implementing collaborations through its diverse and mutually supportive project partners, EW advances the art of cross-sector collaboration.
